One of the biggest movie releases of the year will be “Wonder Woman 1984.” The long-awaited sequel to the 2017 film “Wonder Woman” will simultaneously be released in theaters and exclusively streamed on HBO Max on Christmas Day, when the whole family can snuggle up on the couch, munch on some delightful snacks and enjoy the flick.
With Gal Gadot returning as the iconic superheroine, and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, there will be no shortage of plot twists and turns. Add Pedro Pascal and Kristin Wiig to play the villains, and this blockbuster is sure to be the most talked about movie of the holiday.
For the streaming release, there are two special bonuses. The first is that “Wonder Woman 1984” will be HBO Max’s first 4K release. The second is, if you sign up for AT&T Fiber now, you will get HBO Max for free to see the movie on your 4K device.
Now that you’re ready for “Wonder Woman 1984,” let’s talk about snacks. Instead of the traditional buttered popcorn, why not shake it up a bit with these delicious ideas.
Easy Vanilla Bean Sugar Cookies
There is nothing more enjoyable than a Christmas cookie on Christmas Day, but an easy cookie recipe makes it even better. Vanilla and sugar are traditional holiday flavors everyone enjoys. So bake up some of these confections, turn on HBO Max and get ready for an action-packed night of fun.
If you don’t have a sweet tooth, give this snack a try. These colorful, festive peppers can be pre-cooked the night before and popped back into the oven for a movie-time treat after the day’s festivities have quieted down. Add some sour cream for a snow-peaked illusion and you’ll have the prettiest holiday snack yet.
Boozy Peppermint Hot Cocoa Shooters
This is obviously for adults, but they deserve something special too. Let spirits get you into the holiday spirit with this dessert-inspired shot. There’s nothing cozier than hot cocoa at Christmas, and better when it’s spiked.
