As an email user, you occasionally may need to reset your password.  This may happen because you forgot your password, had too many unsuccessful login attempts or are updating your password regularly as a good security practice.  Most AT&T Mail users can immediately reset their password online.

As part of the password reset process, users will be required to validate their identity by providing account recovery information from their account (e.g., wireless telephone number, alternate contact email address or security questions). Click on ‘Update password’ below for the easiest and fastest way to update your password.

Email users who lack account recovery information will be unable to reset their password through online self-service. In this case, please complete the online form with details about your email account and recent mailbox activity. This form will take about 5 minutes to complete. Once submitted, AT&T will attempt to match the information provided against AT&T internal records to validate the email account.

If the account is deemed valid, an AT&T customer care agent will contact you to assist in regaining access to your email account. We strive to contact customers who have entered valid information within 72 hours. The information provided in the form will be kept confidential in accordance with AT&T’s Privacy Policy.
